We are kicking this off at our offices in Foristell from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Five Acres is bringing adoptable dogs, so come meet them, meet the Hoock's team, and talk to us about your system with no appointment and no pressure.
Bring the kids. We will have pet friendly vendors on hand along with adoptable dogs, and coffee + baked goods from Hattie Shack!

Why We're Doing This
We take care of the homes in this community. That is the whole job. But a home is not just a building, it is everyone under the roof, and for a lot of families in St. Charles County that includes a dog asleep by the vent or a cat parked on the warmest register in the house.
Five Acres Animal Shelter has been taking care of those animals since 1973. They are the only no-kill shelter in St. Charles County, with a save rate above 98 percent. They keep animals safe, healthy, and comfortable until the right family shows up. That is not far off from what we do every day, just with a different kind of family member in mind.

About Five Acres Animal Shelter
Five Acres Animal Shelter is a nonprofit, no-kill shelter serving St. Charles County since 1973. They care for nearly 2,000 cats and dogs every year, cover the medical treatment those animals need, and hold them as long as it takes to find the right placement. They are the only no-kill shelter in the county.
