What to Expect When Hoock’s Installs Your System

The No Corners Cut Process

A new furnace or AC isn’t just equipment. It’s an install.

Two homeowners can buy the exact same furnace from the exact same brand, and one system lasts 20 years while the other limps along, breaks down, and gets replaced in 10.

The difference isn’t the box. It’s what happens the day it gets put in.

At Hoock’s, we call our install standard the No Corners Cut Process. It’s not a marketing line, it’s a documented checklist every technician follows on every job.

4 Things That Set a Hoock’s Install Apart

Pro Press Connections, No Open Flame

Most companies use a torch to connect refrigerant lines, which can leave behind carbon flakes that contaminate your new system from day one. We use Pro Press fittings instead, a cold-press tool that makes the connection without heat. Cleaner system, longer compressor life, and no open fire in your home.

UV-Rated Lineset Covering

The insulation wrapped around the refrigerant lines on the side of your house takes a beating from the sun. On most installs, it cracks and falls apart in a few years. We use a Duraguard UV-rated covering with a tough rubber outer coating that holds up for the long haul.

Custom Return Air Box

Your furnace needs to breathe. We build a custom return box under every furnace so air pulls from the bottom as well as the side. Better airflow means a quieter system, less strain on the motor, and a longer life.

Aprilaire Media Filter

The thin filters most installs come with restrict airflow and barely catch anything. We install a full Aprilaire media filter cabinet on every system. Less dust, cleaner air, and proper airflow to the equipment you just paid for.

What’s Included in Every Install

How We Quote Your System

We walk your home, look at your system and ductwork, and lay out your real options. For each one, we show you what it is, how it works, what it costs, and how to finance it if that’s helpful.

Then you decide. No pressure. No “today-only” pricing. No senior manager called in to close the deal.

When homeowners get clear information and real options, they make great decisions. Our job is to give you the information.
